Rare 1980s Neon Floor Lamp by Dan Chelsea and Rudi Stern for George Kovacs
A rare postmodern neon floor lamp designed by Dan Chelsea and Rudi Stern for George Kovacs during the 1980s. The glowing red neon tube is softened by its original heavy PVC fabric diffuser, while a separate torchiere at the top provides adjustable uplighting. The neon is controlled by a switch near the base, and the torchiere is dimmable using a toggle near the top.
Good vintage condition with light surface wear consistent with age. Both the neon and torchiere are in good working condition.
