Vintage Milo Baughman Model 3085 Chrome Lamp for Kovacs 1976
Rare Model 3085 cantilevered table lamp designed by Milo Baughman for George Kovacs, circa 1976. Constructed in highly polished chrome, its monolithic architectural form conceals the light source while casting a warm, indirect glow below. A narrow opening across the top and the oversized white Plexiglas control complete the remarkably minimal design.
The lamp is in good original vintage condition with scattered surface scratches, spotting and minor wear to the reflective chrome, as photographed. The original Kovacs UL label remains intact. Tested and working.
Original catalog documentation identifies the lamp as Model 3085 and specifies polished chrome, white Plexiglas and a maximum 60-watt showcase bulb.
