Verner Panton Box Wire Chair for Fritz Hansen
Vintage Box Wire lounge chair attributed to Verner Panton for Fritz Hansen, circa 1970s. Constructed from chrome-plated steel wire with a geometric, cube-like frame and removable blue vinyl seat cushion.
The chair has rust, oxidation and patina throughout. The blue vinyl cushion shows staining and discoloration, and the original back cushion is missing. Despite the cosmetic wear, the frame remains sturdy with no broken welds observed. Unmarked; attribution is based on documented examples of the design.
