Richard Claude Ziemann “Grasses” Artist’s Proof Engraving, 1956

An early original engraving by American artist and printmaker Richard Claude Ziemann, dated 1956. Titled "Adolph's Grass in November" the composition transforms a dense patch of vegetation into an almost abstract field of layered marks, texture and movement.

The work is titled in pencil along the lower left margin, marked A/P for Artist’s Proof at center, and signed Richard Claude Ziemann,1956 in pencil at lower right.

Professionally presented in a simple white frame with a wide archival mat. A label on the reverse confirms that archival framing materials were used.
