Jerry Rudquist “Dooblow Window” Artist’s Proof Lithograph, c. 1980s

Artist’s proof aluminum-plate lithograph by prominent Twin Cities artist Jerry Rudquist. Signed, titled and marked “A/P” in pencil, Dooblow Window features paired architectural forms filled with layered organic imagery in tonal black and gray. The original label identifies the technique as a hand-drawn aluminum-plate lithograph and documents its inclusion in the 73rd Annual Minnesota State Fair Fine Arts Exhibition in 1984.

Good vintage condition. Presented under glass in a slim silver-tone aluminum frame, with light wear consistent with age. The artwork has not been examined outside the frame.

Rudquist taught at Macalester College for more than four decades and received solo exhibitions at the Walker Art Center and Minneapolis Institute of Art. His work is held in several major museum collections.
