Large abstract composition by Brother Mel Meyer (American, 1928–2013), created in 1984 using mixed media and handmade paper. Four irregular circles in white, rust orange, and yellow are arranged against contrasting black-and-white fields, with the heavily textured paper giving the work a sculptural presence.
Signed and dated “Mel 1984.” Presented in a light wood custom frame and retaining labels from The Arts Company, Sloan & Kenyon, and Allen Custom Frame.
In good overall vintage condition with light wear.
